Before you decide
Is a $6,700 sauna built better than a $2,499 one?
Start with what is the same. Both are 1-person indoor cabins. Both are built from 100% Canadian hemlock. Both plug into a standard household outlet.
Both have Bluetooth audio, chromotherapy lighting and a glass door.
So the $4,201 gap is not the wood. It is where each brand put the money.
Heavenly Heat put it into a 10-year warranty, a taller cabin and published EMF test numbers. SaunaBox put it into full-spectrum heat and built-in red light, at less than half the price.
What does the red light panel add?
The Solara has a red light panel built into the cabin. It runs two wavelengths, 660nm red and 850nm near infrared, from 60 LEDs delivering up to 192 mW/cm² of irradiance.
It sits alongside near, mid and far infrared heat, so you get both in the same session. No separate device, no extra floor space.
The Heavenly Heat 1-Person Infrared Sauna page lists far infrared heat and chromotherapy. Red light is not listed on that model. On their site, red light comes on the 2-Person Red Light & Infrared Sauna at $11,495.
Will it fit the room you have?
The Solara is 35" x 37" x 63" and weighs 172 lb. The Heavenly Heat 1-Person is 37.4" x 37.4" x 75" and weighs 225 lb.
That is a 12-inch lower roofline. It matters in a basement, under a sloped ceiling, or in a spare bedroom corner.
Setup is quicker too. The Solara assembles in under 30 minutes. Heavenly Heat says most customers finish in 1 to 2 hours.
If you are 6'5" or taller and want the most headroom, their taller cabin is the honest pick. If you want the most therapy per dollar in the smallest footprint, it is the Solara.
