Disclaimer, Terms & Conditions, and Warranty Policy

1. DISCLAIMER

1.1 Definitions

  • “Participant” means the person purchasing and/or using SaunaBox products.

  • “Undersigned” refers to the Participant when 18 years of age or older, or both the Participant and their parent/legal guardian if under 18.

  • “Released Parties” means SaunaBox, its parent company, affiliates, successors, agents, employees, contractors, representatives, directors, officers, and shareholders.

  • “Products” means all items sold under the SaunaBox brand, including but not limited to portable steam saunas, infrared saunas, cold plunges, red light therapy devices, and accessories.

  • “Activity” means the transportation, installation, and use of SaunaBox Products.

1.2 Medical Disclaimer

SaunaBox Products are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Participants should consult a licensed physician before using any sauna, cold plunge, or red-light therapy product, especially if pregnant, elderly, nursing, under medical supervision, or with conditions such as heart disease, high or low blood pressure, respiratory issues, or other health concerns.

SaunaBox disclaims all liability for injuries, health complications, or deaths resulting from improper or unsupervised use.

1.3 Product Manual Requirement

  • Customers must read the entire product manual in full before using any SaunaBox Product.

  • Failure to follow all instructions constitutes misuse and voids all warranties and liability protections.

1.4 Risks of Activity

The Undersigned acknowledges that the use of SaunaBox Products involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: burns, dehydration, dizziness, fainting, slips or falls, electrical shock, and mental or physical distress from heat or cold exposure. These risks may cause injury, illness, property damage, or death.

1.5 Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

By purchasing and/or using SaunaBox Products, the Undersigned:

  • Assumes all risks, known and unknown, associated with the Activity.

  • Releases and forever discharges the Released Parties from all liability, claims, or causes of action, including negligence, arising out of or relating to the Activity or use of the Products.

  • Acknowledges that improper installation, outdoor use, exposure to water, modifications, or alterations will void warranties and liability protections.

1.6 Indemnification

The Undersigned agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, expenses, damages, medical costs, legal fees, or liabilities arising out of their ownership or use of SaunaBox Products.

1.7 Age & Supervision

SaunaBox Products are not intended for unsupervised use by minors or individuals unable to understand and follow safety instructions. Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

1.8 Usage Restrictions

  • Do not use Products for more than 30 minutes per session.

  • Remain hydrated during use.

  • Do not use under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medications that impair sweating, circulation, or awareness.

  • Use Products only on a stable, dry, flat, and ventilated surface.

2. TERMS & CONDITIONS

2.1 Orders & Payments

  • All orders must be paid in full at checkout.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice. Buyer is responsible for all taxes, duties, and import fees.

  • SaunaBox reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders suspected of resale or distribution.

2.2 Shipping & Delivery

  • For our portable saunas, delivery is via UPS or USPS. 

  • For our wooden saunas, standard delivery is curbside only. Drivers are not obligated to move Products beyond curbside. 

  • SaunaBox is not responsible for delays, damages, or losses once Products are in the custody of the carrier.

  • Claims for shipping damage must be submitted within 14 days of delivery to support@saunabox.com.

2.3 Returns & Cancellations

  • Orders cancelled before shipment are subject to a processing fee depending on payment method.

  • Orders cancelled in transit or after delivery are subject to restocking fees (up to $1,250 for large sauna units) plus return freight costs.

2.4 Warranty Disclaimer

Except as expressly covered under SaunaBox’s published warranty policies, all Products are sold “AS IS.” SaunaBox disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

2.5 Limitation of Liability

SaunaBox’s total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the Product. SaunaBox shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, medical expenses, downtime, or property damage.

2.6 Intellectual Property & Confidentiality

All manuals, branding, packaging, designs, and content remain the sole property of SaunaBox. Customers may not copy, reverse engineer, or distribute proprietary materials without written consent.

2.7 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association in California. Jury trials are expressly waived.

3. WARRANTY POLICY

3.1 Residential Use Warranty

  • All SaunaBox Products include a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery.

  • Coverage includes replacement of defective components only.

  • Exclusions: Normal wear and tear (fabric, stitching, cosmetic blemishes), damage from misuse, neglect, improper installation, or unauthorized modifications.

3.2 Commercial Use Warranty

  • Products used in gyms, spas, or wellness centers carry a 6-month limited warranty.

  • Must be disclosed as commercial use at time of purchase.

3.3 Warranty Claims

  • Claims must be submitted to support@saunabox.com with proof of purchase and photos of defect.

  • Customer is responsible for freight charges on replacement parts after 30 days of delivery.

3.4 Limitation of Warranty

This warranty does not cover labor, installation, or service costs. SaunaBox shall not be liable for loss of use, inconvenience, or incidental damages.

4. FINAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By purchasing and/or using SaunaBox Products, the Undersigned affirms that they have:

  • Carefully read and understood this Disclaimer, Terms & Conditions, and Warranty Policy.

  • Acknowledged all risks, safety requirements, and limitations.

  • Agreed to be bound by these Terms as a condition of purchase.
