Every Solara is built from sustainably farmed Canadian Hemlock. That is why our partnership with veritree starts with the product itself: when we build with wood, we should also invest in verified restoration.
The Solara is built from 100% sustainably farmed Canadian Hemlock. Giving something back is part of building it responsibly.
We rely on natural materials to make a product that is beautiful, durable, and designed to last. Our Canadian Hemlock is sustainably sourced from managed farms, not harvested from wild forests. Even so, we believe that using wood as a primary material creates a responsibility to give back to the ecosystems that depend on it.
That is why we partnered with veritree, a data-driven platform connecting businesses to verified nature-based solutions. For every Solara sauna sold, we fund one verified tree.
This is not a separate campaign layered onto the product. It is a direct extension of the manufacturing story: built from sustainably farmed wood, and committed to giving back to the forest.

The Solara is built from Canadian Hemlock sourced from sustainable farms, not taken from wild forests. That distinction matters. It means the wood behind every sauna is responsibly grown and managed from the start.
And yet, responsible sourcing is only one part of the equation. We believe that building with wood, even farmed wood, comes with a broader obligation to support the health of forests and ecosystems more widely.
Restoration through veritree is how we act on that obligation. It turns a material choice into a measurable commitment customers can see and trust.

Our wood is sourced from managed farms, not wild forests, so responsible material choices are built into the product before it ever ships.
Even with farmed wood, we believe using natural materials creates an obligation to give back to the broader forest ecosystem.
For every Solara sold, one verified tree is funded through veritree. That keeps the promise simple, specific, and easy to repeat.
The partnership supports the Solara story. Manufacturing, material, and restoration read as one connected narrative.
Our partnership with veritree is built around verified tree planting, not vague environmental language. Their platform is designed to bring traceability and transparency to restoration, so planting claims are supported with real monitoring and reporting.
That matters to us because the point is not to say we planted trees and move on. The point is to back our commitment with a partner focused on proof, accountability, and measurable outcomes over time.
As veritree puts it: they do not just plant trees. They grow, monitor, measure, and report on them.
The Solara is built from sustainably farmed wood, so giving back is not a correction. It is an extension of a philosophy already built into how the product is made.
Instead of leading with environmental loss, we lead with responsibility: what we build, how we source it, and how we choose to give something back.
veritree's model is built around verifying planting activity and tracking outcomes with transparency, which makes the partnership stronger than a simple donation claim.
That gives customers a clearer reason to trust the commitment and gives the brand a more credible way to talk about impact.
The process is straightforward by design. It starts with what the product is made from, then connects that material choice to a verified restoration action customers can follow.
The commitment is 10,000 verified trees by 2027. That gives the partnership a real target and keeps the message focused on action, not abstraction.
It also gives customers a simple way to understand how each Solara contributes to a larger goal over time.
Our Hemlock is farmed responsibly, but forests globally continue to face pressure from wildfire, land use, and climate change. Verified restoration through veritree helps address that broader reality.
That context reinforces why the partnership matters, but the core message stays the same: the product comes first, and giving back follows from how it is made.
Every tree funded through SaunaBox is planted at a verified restoration site. Explore the map below to see exactly where our trees are going in the ground.
The Solara is built from sustainably farmed Canadian Hemlock, and every sale helps fund one verified tree through veritree. It is a straightforward commitment rooted in how the product is made and backed by a partner focused on transparency and measurable restoration.
